  4. Candoco Dance Company, the contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers, offers weekly dance sessions for 14-25 year olds in three areas across London.

  5. Chinatown Arts Space presents a hip hop performance by Exodus and the chance to learn some exciting new steps. Exodus’s street/hip-hop choreography is a hybrid mix of old school boogaloo, popping, locking and breaking styles with new school hip-hop and krump.

The Ebony Steelband Trust is an organisation that delivers a variety of steelband workshops and community projects for disadvantaged young people – particularity those from the Afro-Caribbean community. Based in the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, its main aim is to be a social network and give people a better start in life.

  11. The Glissando team of ten members comprises of musicians, arrangers and tutors who will deliver interactive demonstrations showing the different roles of each steel pan which includes tenor, double tenor, double second, guitar pan, bass and a tenor bass.

  12. The Jermyn Street Theatre will be showcasing a thirty minute adaptation of Edem a new Musical based on the timeless African creation myth, this will be followed by an hour long musical theatre workshop on the same stage.

  13. Just Dance is The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea’s celebration of youth dance in West London and is part of the Open Weekend leading up to the 2012 Olympics. The showcase is a two hour platform made up of dance groups and soloists.

  17. Mousetrap will be providing information about their Theatre Programmes.
    C145 (See a Show for £5) encourages 15 – 18year olds to visit the theatre. The programme runs all year round and offers one production a month and members can go to as many events as they want.
