The Glissando team of ten members comprises of musicians, arrangers and tutors who will deliver interactive demonstrations showing the different roles of each steel pan which includes tenor, double tenor, double second, guitar pan, bass and a tenor bass.
After watching a demonstration by team members, you will be invited to go through a ten to fifteen minute practice session to master some basic skills and then be set up in small groups to perform a simple musical piece together. The Glissando team will perform musical sets in between the workshop sessions.
The 30 minute workshops will be running throughout the day and there’s no need to book, just come along and have a go.
