The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) is a charity that supports, develops and promotes the art forms of the moving image – from film and television to video games and interactive media.

BAFTA will be running video games design workshops and drop in sessions.

Have you ever fancied making your own video game? Join industry experts at special workshops to learn how your favourite games are made, work in teams to design a game of your own, then pitch your idea to the professionals! There will also be drop-in sessions for you to get a hands-on introduction to games design software.

Workshops will be held at 12.15pm and 2.15pm for eighteen people each session. Drop-in sessions will be held at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm for ten people each session.

To book a place at both workshops, sign up at the Information & Booking Point at FUSE 30 minutes before the workshop is due to start.

For advice and inspiration and the latest new, event and offers, sign up to the BAFTA newsletter at www.bafta.org.
