Chinatown Arts Space presents a hip hop performance by Exodus and the chance to learn some exciting new steps. Exodus’s street/hip-hop choreography is a hybrid mix of old school boogaloo, popping, locking and breaking styles with new school hip-hop and krump.

Their blend of humour, emotions, tricks and stunts is backed by an eclectic modern soundtrack which features sounds from the fifties to the noughties.
They will not only give you a memorable hip-hop dance theatrical experience but, led by dance group organiser Johnny Ong, their performance will be followed by a forty five minute workshop where you can start on the road to learning the basics of hip hop dance. The members come from various ethnic backgrounds, styles and attitudes, but share a passion for dance and come together as a team to create, teach, learn and quite simply just dance for the love of dancing.

Exodus will be performing on the Outdoor Stage at 4.20pm and leading a dance workshop from 4.35pm. There’s no need to sign up, come to watch and then just join in.
