Passport2Pimlico, is a short docu-drama film made by and starring Pimlico residents. The film follows Pimlico’s old and young as they remake the 1949 Ealing comedy classic of the same name, which is about the antics of local characters as they close down the streets and declare Pimlico’s independence. The participatory art film itself is part documentary, part re-imagined scenes from the original. The documentary side of things chronicles the making of the film, showing the chaos and comedy witnessed behind the scenes. Production started in October 2008 and is still ongoing.

Passport2Pimlico will be screened in the Film Tent at 4.30pm, booking is not necessary, just visit the yellow Film Tent.

If you’re from Pimlico and interested in becoming part of the film contact AKarts on info@akarts.co.uk.
